Thanks, Greg. I'm emailing them and crossing my fingers. If they will make the 44mm nut for me, I'll be a happy camper. The more I think about a Afezelia Dolphin though, it sounds cool. I'll probably pass on a CS corvette if they will make me a SS2.
(No offense meant about the King's X comment, by the way. I am a bit of a health nut and many Americans are quick to think that skinny is healthy. Healthy is healthy, not skinny is healthy. People starve themselves too much.)

Greg, Thanks alot. I am very excited about the possibility of a wide-neck SS2. I will go ahead and email them directly. I am probably going to order a more affordable CS Corvette with the 'fatneck' first to replace my workhorse Fender and let me test drive the 'fatneck' neck. The SS2 will be my Museum piece! Thanks, Dude!

    Hello!
Hi Greg, my name is John. I am somewhat new to the forum but I have already noticed you post to most of the threads. You also seem knowledgeable about woods and their effects on tone. My absolute favorite bass (tone-wise) is the SS2. I just recently became a Warwick dealer here in the states, so being able afford a CS SS2 is a good possibility, soon. I have also noticed you seem to be a big SS2 fan. I now understand that the custom shop only allows one neck shape modification at a time. This means that a 44mm nut and a 'fatneck' profile could not simultaneously chosen as options. You informed me that the Dolphin has the 44mm nut standard. Do you know if the 'fatneck' profile is allowed on a Dolphin Pro 1? If so, I could just order a Dolphin Pro 1 with the SS2 woods? Hopefully this will not cost more than a car, because I think it would be a brilliant instrument. Thanks! I look forward to reading your answer.
