because i just started in a metal band and want an more "metalhead-style" bass now
i'm thinking about selling or trading my brand new Musicman Sterling 4string 3EQ bass.

I bought it new at april 7 this year at life for music in the UK and still have the papers to prove it as it is still under warranty.

It has a beautifull transparent dark red finish that shows the structure of the wood underneath in a really nice way
and it is fitted with a stunningly fast maple neck.

It also comes with the original case and all the goodies it came with on purchase.

It has never been out of the house and i've always kept it in the case when not playing so it is therefore still in perfect showroom condition.

I've always wanted a Warwick bass, but never had the chance to buy one, so maybe this might be the chance for a nice trade!:d

I would prefer a thumb or humbucker equiped model and preferably a 4 string,
but i've been doubting about trasferring to 5 string for a while now and there are many other warwick (and spector) models i like,so i'm open for other suggestions! ;)

(for example: a nice black stingray or stingray 5'er might also be an option..)

just no flashy colours or worn out basses please ,because it has to look the part and be able to wistand the abuse in a fast death metal band...


In case of a sale i would like at least 1200Euro's + shipping for it (incl.case) ,which is a very reasonable price considering the state and age of the bass (it's just 5 months old).

Also up for sale is my EBS HD350 and matching EBS evolution proline 210 cab,

both bought new just over a year ago and in absolute mint condition (never been out of the house!)and sounds terrific ,

but since i'm going to play mostly metal from now on, i'm looking for a less clean and more "metal-voiced amp" that's also very portable& light...

bought new for 1398E for the amp and 899E for the cab,

But like the Spector, I still need the money for other things, but I figured while I'm waiting having a thumb to play on can't hurt :lol:

It has all the original hardware. I believe it has a wenge neck and a bubinga body, but I don't remember for sure. Maybe the former owner can pipe in here and give some more details. It has basic wear (It's 22 years old) -- but is overall in great shape. Some thumb wear, scratches on the back battery plate, a few nicks. Nothing worth noting specifically. The pickups are pretty worn down in a couple places, but that doesn't affect playability.

I'm taking offers at the moment. I'll include shipping free (in a warwick hard case) if the price is right. Please PM with any questions or offers. Thanks!
