Up For Trade (Canada): 1991 Warwick Streamer Stage 2

    Hi everyone,

I have played this bass lovingly for several years. It hasn't been gigged, and before I was the owner, it was a studio piece only, so it is in mint condition (especially considering its age).

Interested in trades for 5-stringers of equal value (please e-mail me with photos). Natural finish is a must and exotic woods are a bonus.

    Thanks for taking a look.

Are you sure she's made of bubinga? Looks more like afzelia to me (you would not be the first guy confusing old, "aged" afzelia with bubinga).

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

After contacting H.P. Wilfer about 2 years ago, and sending him photos and the serial, he seemed to think it was Bubinga, as did the previous owner who bought it new. I'm not an expert... all I know is that in person it looks like it... but either way, it sounds damn awesome!

Primitivu: I'd love to take you up on that trade! Amazing Thumb you've got there... but Bucharest is pretty far and shipping would be quite expensive (despite my screen name, I'm actually located in Canada, not Hungary, which would be a lot closer!).

If I were to considering selling, I'd be hesitant to go under $2000.

Thanks everyone! Sorry for the delayed responses... I only check the forum once in a while. Feel free to drop me an e-mail if you have more questions.
