This awesome bass was a special custom order Signature Deluxe with Anniversary electronics and a lot of other great options as a 5A quilted maple top and back from the same slab over a mahogany body. Most exquisite piece of wood ever!
More features hard to find in a Signature bass:
Satin neck and upper body half internally shielded.
Switch on brass plate for stereo/mono.
Custom order with the older "2R" Truss rod cover, meaning neck pickup is closer to neck than current 'stock' position.
Ready for Series II electronics with the modification of Q switches instead of CVQs so already comes factory with the 'dummy' humcanceller installed but not connected, all routing factory done and a lightweight hollow body as Series II.

This bass it's a great investment so given the specifications is in reality a Series II but just without the full Series II electronics package.
The most stunning and beautiful Alembic I have seen in my life, also the best sounding between the dozen I've ever played, my promise.
Manufactured in 2002, bought used but in dead mint condition just a few months ago in a local store.
Mint condition, no scratches, no marks, no issues of any kind. Set up with a low action with Alembic CX-3 strings.
Comes with the original black G&G hardshell case and tools + a beautiful extra broad black leather italian strap (150 USD value) with gold Dunlop straplocks.
It's a true piece of ART, American craftsmanship at its finest but it's so costly and "lustful" that is not practical for my gigs and it's preserved in a storage since the day I bought it. That fact and my requirement of funds is the only reason why I'm considering to part with it even it's not a easy determination.
It's lightweight, it's stunning, it's a rare bird and sounds and looks terrific, so now it's up to you.

A lot of proposal with trades but I only can do it accepting any 4 string classic bass + a good amount of cash on top.
A good 4 strings Jazz Bass, Lakland 44-02 or 4-94, Stingray or Sadowsky could be fine.
