    1966 precision bass for sale!

Hey all! New guy here again! I've a 1966 P' bass that I'm looking to move; I bought it about 4 yrs. ago and have NEVER gigged out with it, I've just been the "curator", if you will! Right now it's posted on Ebay with about 4 days left to go. It's the one with the "spot" on the body, and the full story is there! I'm asking $4,000.00 US for it, plus whatever packing, shipping, and insurance costs please, and we thank you all, and good day, Henry!

    1966 P' Bass for sale!

I've tried, though I'm not computer saavy, so I can't do this link thing! If anyone wants to see the 66', just go to ebay, and look for the 66 with the spot to the left of the neck, on the upper bout of the body! The bass has about 2 days left on ebay! The $4,000.00 price is a giveaway!

    99 & 44/100% Original!

Per Flipper GV: Yes it's almost 100% original except for the clear coat on the bass that was done by the original owner. It was professionally done; not a hint of sloppiness about the body, and only the body was "finished" not the neck, and only seemingly so, based on the "spot" on the body, he possibly wanted to protect the body finish. As he's passed on at this time, this is conjecture, but a plausible explanation!

When he played, if you look at my photo where he placed his hand, the meat of his thumb wore away the finish, causing the "spot"! And if you look very closely, at the last fret where the last position marker is, there is a divot where he dug his thumb in while playing! He was a "country & western" player, and was mostly a first position player, based on the wear on the back of the neck!

So there you have it, and thanks for stopping by, Henry!

And thank you Lex, for the link here! How did you do that? I'm still learning....
