it just sucks that i took those photos in a hurry... ddnt care about angles nor prep up the basses for the shoot ... next time, ill do a better photo job with both basses.

who knows, i might actually end up refinishing the vampyre SN ... if i do, there will be a new photoshoot

COOL, a Vampyre Club!! I was waiting for someone to start that one.
That honey -finished Vampyre is sweet as Claudia Schiffers a**. And that Dark Lord, well it looks just as heavy as it sounds.

Here`s some pics you all`ve seen before:

Me and my babe together *sorry for the biggie*

Shh...be quiet, its daytime and she is sleeping

I'm eyeballin' for a good used RB Vampyre 5 banger. My plan is to swap the hardware with my 5 string RB Fortress. I think the honey violin looks nicer with chrome hardware ( like the Fortress 1) and the Vamp would look better with black hardware (like the Vamp SN).
    Don't mention the herring!

Good point, but I don`t think we are many enough. But this forum is too including for me, to have the heart to divide it into many smaller groups.

It´s not about dividing, this is what I wouldn´t do anyway. It´s about to count the people of same gear, I think. At least I´m thinking about a separate thread where all lefty warwick users post their beauties , talk about what does it mean to be a lefty player (you know what I mean) etc. :-)

I really prefer your finish over mine. My finish is very even, but yours has more personality and it looks more sinister IMHO.

ey john, the different sandblasted finishes kinda justify the desire for owning more than one darklord i guess *lol*

and sadly, my darklord has too much personality now ... its basically "relic-ed" from playing ... there are days where i like the look of it ... but on other days, i get a felt tip marker and just line up those relic-ed spots *lol*

    That is an excellent point.

    Hmmm . . . . Maybe someday a CS Darklord with:

    - Dual Bartolini Precision pickups and 3-band Bartolini preamp

    - C shaped 37" or 38" scale wenge neck

    - and of course the required ultra sinister looking grain

I like the black high gloss finish but that sandblasted one is addictive!!
