I don't think there is that which is more sexy than the Thumb 6. I have heavy GAS for it and I own one.

Awesome! That Bubinga Thumb with chrome hardware is definitely unusual,
and the Dirty Blonde has a very nice highly figured birdseye pattern.

 I own one too
It is as if they pack sawdust into a mold, threw paint on it and called a "bass". Well Ibanez its a poor excuse for one! It sounds like crap! It sounds thin and lifeless, not to mention the bass feels like a chunk of plastic in your arms. Their line should be "Ibanez... the sound of plastic".

I had an Ibanez SR506 that I really liked. Great neck on it. That said, here's my thumb. It's the 3rd thumb I've had, 2nd 5 string. I regretted the sale of my first 5er, and finally got this one when I could a few months back.

Very nice. Looks like its straight out of the catalog. No weird lines or color differences. A perfect example of a Thumb NT. Great color too. I wish my Thumb NT 5 looked like that. :?

So I'm doing mocks of my dream basses and I didn't know if I should put them in one of the custom threads or not. I decided to put them in here thinking that my boys in the thumb club would appreciate them more. Anyway here's one design. I'll post more as I complete them.

I like my Thumb 6. I don't need another bass for a long while, but I'm thinking of upgrading the electronics to 3-band. The output is a bit low for my tastes.

But yeah. Sounds awsome, feels great.
