I saw that JacobHamilton posted the same bass on page 6. I just C&P'd the description he wrote. I have never seen another one of these. I got mine used at Guitar Center. They had no idea what it was and I practicaly stole it!

Hey jDub, could you please post some more pictures of that bubinga decked corvette? I am in the process of ordering a custom Corvette $$ and that wood combination looks great!

Those were all the pictures I have of it. But I would be happy to take more just tell me what you want to see. I really love the look of this bass too. It is such a nice blend of woods. And I LOVE that maple frett board. I thought about doing a custom 5-string $$ to look similar but decided to spread the money out so I could make some rig upgrades as well.

Wow, I was just thinking of placing an order for a Streamer MM. Unless a Corvette with Contour is an option, because they have that super limited run of old Streamers turned to Corvettes. Hmm...

That's an awesome bass. I had a four-string Maple Monster for a while, but the ergonomics were quite poor for me, so I let it go. There are only 25 of those in the world including all variants! The four-string had a very aggressive and growly tone.

    Hi Mala,

Hi Eusie, I have ordered the Dirty Blond and made a downpayment but they don't deliver until July/August. I think it's a bass with a great deal of attitude. I have another bass coming in (not a Warwick) with the same birdseye poplar top. it's a 6-string fretless with piezo bridge, super electronics and leds etc, street price 7.300 US$. They will match each other great on stage. Will publish some pics when I get this other beauty in May

Well, there are a couple of basses at home and in the bands rehearsal studio. I am collecting Warwick Ltd series and will try to find a 2000 Infinity Ltd as well this year. I am actually distributer of another high end German bass brand as well but will continue collecting the Warwicks. I have ordered four basses of the other brand for delivery early May and these are for myself, not for sale. Will publish some pics when I have driven the 2200 kilometers to pick them up 8)

And by the way, I will put some EMG pickups on tomorrow, incl acive electronics. Will save everything though in order to restore it to original later.
And regarding number of basses - Marcus (Marcbass) has probably the coolest collection so far :?

    Hi Mala,

Both of my Thumbs have EMG's as well...still working fine for me. Nice lows and growly mids, aggressive in the highs though, especially in slap parts. But am very satisfied with them. Have tried Thumbs with MEC's, totally different sound. Enjoy ur Nobby, looks very beautiful!

Well, it's another German handmade bass and I'm the distributer in Scandinavia. Will not market them here on the Warwick Forum but will put some pics out when I have them here (I have ordered four private basses that will be collected in 2nd week of May). Will still collect the Warwicks though 8)
