    JAN III anyone?

    Guess what guys...

I have great news for most of you, the regular spaced 4 and 5 string JAN III's are in!!! Broad-spaced, 6 and 7 string JAN III's are expected very soon also. I am expecting that alot of you will want to upgrade, as you should, so i am asking that eveyone correspond with me through my personal email at work. i can take requests at work and at home through this method. The first run is limited to a few hundred pieces, so this is a first come, first served type deal. I am expecting on getting a new supply every 2 weeks, but if you want one now, get to emailing!!!

Thanks for everyone's support in Warwick.

Yes, Dana B. Goods will ship new nuts to people in the US. If you are from somewhere else in the world please contact the distributor in your country about how to get the JAN III.

Yes, Oliver is correct. Unfortunately,we can only provide service to the US.

On another note, because of the amount of requests we have gotten for the new JAN III, we are developing a new program just for the end user upgrade. I will continue processing the way i have been to start, but there will be an update sometime in the next few days on how we would like everyone to contact us in order to get a new JAN III.

I've sent two emails to DBGoods requesting a new JAN III per instructions in this forum. However, I have had absolutely no response from DBGoods, so I don't even know if I'm in the queue to have mine shipped. Anyone else getting theirs?

I know Tyler's been really busy lately. I ended up emailing someone else @ DBG and they passed my message on to him. I don't know if I'm getting caught in his spam filter or what, but I had no luck emailing. Of course you could just call him.

I've been waiting many weeks for a JAN3 which makes me wonder if Warwick is now installing 3's on all their basses for now on. Apparently this is not a new issue with the 2's and only being able to get the replacements from only one place is also a puzzlement.

I have been trying to get my user's kit as well as a JAN III from DBG for well over two months now. I guess they must be extremely busy. :?

    Oh Nutz

Offer the JAN 3's online.....gee, theres a novel idea. DBG wont have to be bothered with mailing them. How hard can it be to manufacture them and then put them up on a site? Even if its a warranty item or recall, $4 for a piece of plastic isn't asking allot.

Has anyone had any luck getting the new Jan III? I've sent a number of emails as instructed in this forum. I've also tried tried calling Dana B. Goods but I was only able to leave a voice mail message. Any suggestions?

Email did me no good, but I called Friday morning and a gentleman answered who was very friendly and helpful. Says my two JANIII's (4 and 5-string) will arrive this week. Will let you know when they do.

My suggestion is to not leave email or voice mail, but keep trying back until you get a live person on the phone.

I have to say it's excellent as far as Dana B. Goods goes. I just called Tyler again because my JANIII's still hadn't arrived and I'm only one State away - he looked up my request and said I should have gotten them by now, so he is shipping them again and told me if the others arrive to hold onto them in case I need them down the road. I even found out that my fretted and fretless each get their own special design of the JANIII - very nice!

Way cool to have direct personal contact and service for the most important parts of my equipment rig - my Warwick basses!

Warwick and their service definitely rules and owns...and even "pwnes" big time! :D
